In brief
Learn Math is an educational app designed for young children and their families. It does not require an account and does not include advertising or analytics services. The app stores learning progress and preferences on the device and does not send them to the developer. Spoken content uses the text-to-speech engine available on the device.
Information stored on your device
The app stores information locally to provide its features, including:
- child profile names and avatar choices;
- selected learning language and active profile;
- lesson progress, earned stars, and game scores;
- parent-selected settings, such as which lessons are unlocked, speech rate, music, and sound effects.
This information is stored in the app's private device storage. The app has no account or developer-operated server. Android backup or device transfer may include app data depending on the device, Android version, and the user's backup settings. Android and the backup provider manage those copies under their own policies.
Text-to-speech
When the app speaks a lesson or greeting, it passes the text to the text-to-speech engine installed on the device. This text can include lesson content, numbers, and a child name entered in the app. Learn Math does not record microphone audio or send this text to a developer-operated server. The device's speech engine may process text on-device or use its provider's services, depending on the engine, device, and settings. The engine provider's privacy policy applies to its processing.
The app does not request microphone permission.
Retention and deletion
Profiles can be removed in the app's parents' area. You can delete app data by clearing Learn Math's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Backup copies, if any, are managed separately by Android and the backup provider.
Children and parents
Learn Math is designed for children and is intended to be used with a parent's or guardian's guidance. A parent or guardian chooses any profile name and can manage profiles, settings, and local progress in the app.
