In brief
F-Gas Pro is an educational study and calculator app for refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat-pump technicians. It does not require an account. Study settings and progress are stored on your device. The app does not include advertising or analytics services in its current implementation. Optional question feedback can be sent to the developer, and an optional PRO purchase is handled by Google Play.
Information stored on your device
F-Gas Pro stores app data locally, including your selected country and study category, language preferences, PRO entitlement status, active quiz progress and answers, favorite questions, and questions in your mistake bank. The app uses this data to remember your choices, resume a study session, and provide study features. It is not sent to a developer-operated account or analytics service.
Android backup is enabled for the app. Depending on your device and backup settings, app data may be included in Android device backup or transfer. Android and the backup provider manage those copies under their own settings and policies.
Question feedback
If you choose to report a question problem or suggestion, the app prepares the selected country and standard, question identifier and text, and the feedback you enter. If a Google Apps Script feedback endpoint is configured in your app build, this information is sent over the internet to that endpoint and may be stored in its associated spreadsheet for review by the developer. Google may process the request under its own policies.
If no endpoint is configured, the app opens an email composer with this information addressed to the developer. The email is not sent unless you choose to send it in your email app. Your email provider's privacy practices apply.
PRO purchases
F-Gas Pro offers an optional one-time PRO in-app purchase. Google Play processes the purchase and payment information under Google's terms and privacy policy. The app receives the purchase status through Google Play Billing and stores the resulting PRO entitlement locally so PRO features can be made available. The app does not send purchase information to a developer-operated server.
Permissions and third-party services
The app uses internet access for optional feedback submissions and Google Play Billing. It does not request location, contacts, microphone, or SMS permissions. The country profile is selected in the app; it is not determined using precise location. The current app implementation does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored app data can be deleted by clearing F-Gas Pro's data in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Backup copies, if any, are managed separately by Android and your backup provider. Feedback already submitted by email or through a configured feedback endpoint is handled by the relevant email or Google service and may be retained there; contact the developer with privacy questions or requests.
